Abstract=Avengers: Endgame picks up after the events of Avengers: Infinity War, which saw the Avengers divided and defeated. There is no answer provided in the film to this problem because Thor's real goal was to get to Thanos before he gathered all these stones to begin with.

I love how everyone went from cheering to screaming when Spider-Man came back. They managed to tie it all off and put a nice bow on top and for me it sits as an above average action finale but only as a series ender. If it was a stand alone movie it would be a drag. It's a movie that would be hard to sit through again. It leaves me thinking they could have done better but also could have done a lot worse. The plot is adequate but not inspired, a "time travel" flake out which anyone could have predicted. Go back in time, fix everything, and they do; Ant man sucked and Hawkeye is not my favorite so his screen time was dull. Bree Larson getting knocked out was alright but that scenario felt like a re-write. Talking Hulk sucked. Thors new character style sucked. A lot of things sucked but overall it's still above average genre entertainment and core fans will definitely find a lot to enjoy.
